A Guide To Making Mexican Tissue Paper Flowers –
Step 1- Tissue paper color selection
Take any 5 colors of your selected tissue paper. Gather all of them and cut between the rectangle points.
Step 2- Folding
Then fold the tissue paper in the middle center.
No worries, there are no accurate sizes. You can choose the middle as you like.
Step 3 – cut tissue paper
Cut the folded tissue paper into an end petal shape. You can try any shape. I personally like a corner, spherical and square shape. You can try both of them.
Step 4- Add floss.
Now tie the middle of the folded tissue paper with thread of any color.
Step 5- Shell the tissue paper
Then start opening the tissue paper. Do you think it’s an impossible thing to do? Not at all.
Arrange the folded papers upside down and make a flower shape of your choice. The end is very easy
Special tips for you:
- Attach five or six tissue papers for a more colorful look
- Medium flower size is 3″ by 8”
